Excellent source of Calcium and Nitrogen

Calcium nitrate is excellent for your orchids, and most most other plants, vegetables, and flowering plants. Calcium is most important when the plant is making new growth in the spring and summer. Use it in place of your regular fertilizer, once a month at 1/2 teaspoon per gallon, which roughly equals 100 ppm nitrogen.
Best used by itself, don't mix it with your regular fertilizer. For the rest of the month, use your regular fertilizer as usual. Calcium builds stronger plant cell walls that helps to resist fungus and insects. Also Prevents Blossom End-Rot from Calcium Deficiency in Tomatoes & Peppers. The Nitrate provides growth enhancement. CONTAINS:Calcium 15.5% Nitrogen, 19%, readily water soluble.
