(M31S) Cattleya Species - Grower's Choice ->> Our grower will choose a cattleya species from our collection. Cattleyas are native to Central and South America. Easy to grow mounted in pots or baskets. Cattleyas bloom late fall to early winter or early. Photo for Demo Purposes.

(M41S) Pholidota imbraciata->> The famous "Rattlesnake Orchid", so named because of the pendant flower spike which has the appearance of a rattlesnake's tail rattles. Interestingly, rattlesanakes do not live in that part of the world where this orchid grows.

(A11S) Ascocentrum miniatum -->> Sepals and petals crystalline orange with the lip shading to yellow at base. Anther cap is red.

(A21S) Stanhopea wardii Compot ->>Two large seedlings of this beautiful, unusual, large Venezuelan form with rounded deep green pseudobulbs and a solitary apical leaf. The large flowers, up to eight on a pendant inflorescence, are fragrant, very showy, yellow to orangish, with tiny reddish flecks on the sepals and petals and a large reddish ’eye spot’ on each side of the hypochile. Culture is warm to intermediate, bright and moist, in hanging baskets because of its pendant flowers.

(A31S) Pomatocalpa bicolor----From Philippines, with flower about half an inch in diameter and yellowish-green in color, often has purplish spots. The flowers are slightly fragrant and the flowering period extends for about two months, during the period of spring through late summer.
