This is the yellow/gold color form of the normally pink and white flowers. The natural habitat of Aerides quinquivulnera is the Philippines and New Guinea. The many waxy one inch flowers are borne on multi pendant spikes. The heavy substance of the flowers provides a long life to the flowers, which often last up to six weeks in perfect condition. The lovely flowers have a delicate rose-like fragrance. Aerides quinquivulnera grows best in a wooden or plastic basket with typical Vanda culture.
