Barkeria dorotheae |
Culture Legend--- Temp: I-C |
An interesting species from Central America with cane-like stems much resembling those of many Dendrobiums. The stems branch freely, and produce an apical inflorescence with multiple, nodding, very attractive flowers. The petals and sepals are lavender, and form an umbrella shape. The lip is large, white in the center with purple speckles and two dark ’eyes’ and a purple splash.
